Mother（EarthBound Beginnings）

Embark on a truly unique role-playing adventure with Mother, originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1989. Developed by Ape Inc. and HAL Laboratory, and famously conceptualized and directed by Shigesato Itoi, this game stands as the progenitor of the beloved EarthBound series. Unlike the typical fantasy RPGs of its era, Mother transported players to a contemporary, albeit slightly surreal, version of America. You step into the shoes of Ninten, a young boy who awakens one night to a terrifying poltergeist. This strange event is merely the beginning of a much larger crisis, as Ninten discovers he possesses psychic abilities and must travel the land to combat an alien entity known as Giegue, who is manipulating humans and animals with mind-control frequencies.
