Dragon Warrior IV

Ah, Dragon Warrior IV! If you're looking for a truly epic JRPG experience on the NES, this is an absolute must-play. Released in 1990 by Enix, Dragon Warrior IV (or Dragon Quest IV as it's known elsewhere) takes you on an unforgettable journey. It’s a classic turn-based role-playing game, similar to its predecessors, but it really pushed the boundaries for its time, especially on the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game’s overarching goal is familiar to any hero: to defeat the nefarious Demon King and bring peace back to the land. But how you get there is what makes Dragon Warrior IV so special.
