Game Boy Color
The colour Game Boy from 1998, backwards compatible with the black-and-white cartridges.
The Game Boy Color is Nintendo’s colour handheld from 1998: a slimmer body than the original Game Boy, a screen able to show more than fifty colours, and full backwards compatibility with the older black-and-white cartridges. Pokémon Gold & Silver and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons are among its best-known titles. GBC games on this site run through the same mGBA core.
